This world is our stage, we can pick our act, it doesn't have to be exact, maybe just a strong fact.
What do you do when
you're not strong enough
As much as possible
you act like you're tough
No one has to know
that you've lost your
get up and go
I watched my mother
with eight little kids
some babies
struggle for years
the thought almost
brings me to tears
as I revisit the fears
Every inch of the way
mom responded rough
when I basically knew
she had enough
right or wrong mom
always acted tough

We guys talk rough and act tough. Bad to the bone we try to be. We are walking facades. Mothers are tough, really tough, tough enough to stand the strain of kids and long thankless years. If we guys have any toughness at all, well, we were raised by the best teacher :-)
