Nobody gives a chit
how we feel
we can keep life a bore
or make it a thrill
Slap me in my sleep
I pray to the Lord
my thrill will keep
I wake up feeling like crap
look in the mirror
my own face I slap
Got to come around
from this feeling of down
Body all tired don't want
to stand ground
Lets face it
sometimes we just can't
jump up and go
the body feels it but the brain
doesn't have to know
But it does
it keeps on doing it like it was
A good thrill is hard to keep
from around corner
none will peep
unless we give chase
to help keep a
smile on our face

When I read this...I think it is about true. We are working so hard to live..the thrill is gone!

I have written a chapter called I Am That, I Am in this inspirational compilation book by best-selling authors and wonderful people from all walks of life xox :-D (Its sister book is called Adventures In Manifesting - Success and Spirituality)
When two men hit the reset button and decide to go out looking for the good in the world, they not only find it but also a lot more.
P.S. The title is listed on Amazon under Look for Something Good by Robert Drews (not by Robert H. Drews)
