Write at your own risk
get ready for the flop and frisk
the incomng pot shots
maybe no review nots
scheming sneaky plots
Prepare to be attacked
from all angles
make plans to remove
the tangles
Plan to be an island
with all the sharks
swimming around
knowing you're
safer on the ground
Still you dive into the
water deep
praying your pen
won't seep
and that your verse
written will keep
By all means don't plan
to be accepted
unless you'er strongly adapted
have no plans of being inepted
Be very careful if
you have thin skin
and by all means remember
you're writing in the den

You are right! You can't have thin skin when you're a writer. I'm done with the people who love to judge others with their own perception. I am my own person and that is it. If you like me, be my friend, if you don't like me then don't be. You can't please them all anyway!
I'm glad you're still writing!...but don't forget to take some time to be away from the den and go out to have some real fun!!!
