A persons word should hold clout, my word is what I'm about.
My word is my pond
I swim with it
right here and beyond
For me there is
no stronger bond
Makes no difference
how others respond
I'm a word traveler
poetic unraveler
I speak these words
they fly like birds
Always leaving base
so goes the
smile on my face
Leaving the love
I feel to trace
in a mean selfish place
but love still is my ace
I speak love to
a mean cruel world revolving
I speak peace to
this same world evolving
Not very many understand
that love is problem solving
Travel any other route
hell will toss the
traveler about
and their word will
hold no clout

A word traveler! I love this description and your poem.
Timeless wisdom and advice on the art of living for today’s young and old: The art of thinking, the art of loving, the art of working, the art of leadership, the art of growing old.
A new translation by Sergio E. Serrano of this inspirationa
