The rose is a lovely flower
its thorns give it more power
Power believed
is power recieved
Yet the rose falls vitim to
human hands
no other flower meets
such demands

Life is both treat and rose flower
but there's nothing like true power
The ability to stand on ones own
grow up and be grown
don't have to beg others for a loan
leaving them completely alone
Standing rock solid like a stone
Reaching diamond status in form
weathering the strongest storm
coming through with no harm
still possessing every loving charm

Knowing at the end of each
and everyday
you did it your own way
no matter what the fools
and others say
You may get picked like the
rose flower
but you know how to use your
thorns to protect your power
and after the days over you
sat back in your own tower
reflecting on both sweet and sour
not missing one relaxing minute
or hour
