It still will not be your babysitter
Before most reach it they become
a quitter
Sometimes life gets tough
then some settle for good enough

They simply give up on perfection
and chose peace of mind in connection
Anyway nothing in this world is perfect
not even the life we live
very few ever try to love and forgive
Perfectionist chase better like white on rice
but sometime don't end up with
the sugar and spice
Then they get angry and don't act nice

In the end it only counts that we have
done our best
then knew how to take a break and rest
If we somehow fail the test
the ability to not agonize and worry
helps make life more cherry
