I smile and laugh quite a bit
trying to keep my face lit
when at times down inside
there's a cloud
of course I'm the sun in a crowd
Sometimes I even laugh out loud
Being honest I'm kind of inbetween
sun and moon
you might see a frown soon

I work hard at trying to be like
the sun
I love to have fun
At times my smile is so bright
It could be mistaken for sunlight
My cloud down inside enters the flow 
then joins in on the show
To my surprise my moon even
acts like it know
Then my whole being begins to glow

After pumping myself up to happy
I feel less crappy
However the sun can't shine forever
but it's better than never
On some days I'll be lucky if I'm
a full moon
but a bright sun still plays my tune
and I know why
cause I love being like the sun up
in the sky
