First of all if you're a writer
then this is your answer

If you are a poet verse
If you are anything resembling something
you won't sit around and do nothing
Then again human nature presents
lazy do nothing intents
but we all have to pay our rents

I guess I'd be out in the cold
depending on the books I've sold
infact if it wasn't for the fun I'd fold
but I've been told
and I've seen
other writers and poets profit large
so it can be done if you take charge

Every writer and poet won't be
a Stephen King
but if devoted they will wear that
wedding ring
Taken to heart
until death do you apart
but the marriage has got to start
It's not over until the fat lady sing
so it's best not to stop
but do it until you drop
something might just crop
who knows
