A friend of mines mother just died from a heart attack, about a year ago one of my favorite aunts died from old age

Are you beginning to read what I'm saying on this page

Some people say, "when vacation time come I'm going to have me a real good time, the time of my life, man I can't wait until vacation time gets here to rid myself of some of my strife

I tell you what people's reading this poem, better wake up and figure out the game, quit throwing the blame, get life out of the frame, because before you know it along comes the grim reaper with his sharp bladed knife

You don't have to wait for vacation time to enjoy yourself, get off the shelf, be like the jolly old elf

Lets see now, if we're lucky we have the next second, minute, hour, or day to start our play

Check this out, don't get mad or pout, just get your head going in the right route

From the very next second after I think about what I'm trying to tell you, I fix me a good thought in my mind, in other words I think something good and kind, then maybe for the next minute I really get in it, like find some good food, stop being rude, crude, try a smile, anything good like a small child

Out where I work, do the job, make my money and don't rob, there's this spot that turns me on, makes me feel glad I was born, I pull my car under this big tree, think about my glee, my happy spree, I might just sit, pull out a good book to hit, watch a squirrel, for real, anything small that comes to my call

Then I start up, crank up, get to rolling back to, on to the work place with a smile on my face, a good relaxing feeling, from a few moments of kneeling

When I get back to work I can't wait until break time, the lunch chime, to rest my spine, enjoy, think about my weekend ploy, my turn on toy

So don't wait to long to enjoy
