Walking out the door
Might not be back no more
Out of your life
Ending your strife
Is this what you want
Or what you don't
My mind isn't fully made up
Just offer to fill my coffee cup
I might stay and discuss
Without a fuss
Our love
I may not make the move
You mean the world to me
Can't you see
I'm trying
Crying
I don't want to really go
This makes me so sore
It causes a pain deep down
Like a drown
Smothering my heart
Tearing my soul apart
Just give me some reason to stay
And I surely won't leave this day.

I know the pain you speak of in this wonderfully expressive poem you've written. (Sadly I'm dealing with these feelings at the moment...) You're very talented at putting emotions into words.
How little it takes to keep love alive, yet how often that little is lost in the rush of the moment. I will assume that this is fiction because I truly hope it is. It is well done, and very emotive.

Hey Grady, Excellent write, nice easy flow, and rhyme.
Oh wow, this pulls at my heart strings! How many of us realize we should leave, however never do, because we don't want to! All we want is some encouragement (a reason) to stay!
