(Needing much work.)

One side larger than the other

No need to bother

Your mother and father

About your imperfections

The things needing corrections

The young child

Running wild

All confused

Used

Maybe abused

Grows up

Bad and corrupt

Misunderstood

Not good

Brain not functioning right

Always looking for a fight

Can't understand

The responsibility in hand

May need guidance

To help make the right stance

Not understanding

How demanding

Life can be

Nothings free

Especially a perfect sight to see

Got to have good common sense

To build a proper defence

Why am I so troubled mother

Cause I never had a father

Why didn't he bother

Life just seems so confusing

And now I'm using

Hooked on

Depending upon

A substance

Which keeps me a distance

Away from reality

I need neutrality

Some type of peace

In some place

I need to regroup

Before I end up in the chicken coup

Eating jail house soup

Can I back track

Get my life back

Correct my imperfections

Clean up my connections

Right the wrong

So I can belong

Come out of the dark abyss

With a stronger fist

A better twist

Make a stronger priority list

For now I know

It's my choice to go

Fit in so

I

Can live

Give

Myself a

Better way

A more perfect day

(This isn't about me folks, I know quite a few people, friends, and family members in trouble.)

Our parents did the best they could to raise us. It is not always easy to raise children, especially now a days. I found out after Mom died that she did the best she could with me. She gave me all I ever needed and lots of love besides. My sister in law told me this after her death. (my mom's that is). That comforted me to know this.

I don't know one person who isn't imperfect, but the sort of trouble you describe here is beyond imperfection. It's about seeking direction and needing a guidepost.

Needing to want to change and needing to ask for help. Then again, some people look inside themselves for strength.

Good job addressing human need, Grady.
