I admit
To some f 'd up s-it
I use to be mean to me
Because I couldn't really see
My own good heart
Right from the start
It was always there
And I did care
But I didn't treat myself fare
A bad sin
Is not being your own friend
I use to drank alcohol
Then I would fall
End up down
With only a frown
Then again act like a clown
After years of this same type behavior
I finally prayed to my savior
My answer back
Knocked me back
To reality
My love for my fellow man
Is my love for me
If I treat you too mean
I treat myself too mean
We all have feelings
How can you watch another suffer
And not suffer yourself
Oh, the pain may be on another
But the boomerang returns
Then it be your turn to burns
I'm not being a mean jerk anymore
I may not like you
But I'm not going out of my way to hurt you
I'm going to pray
That you see the light
Then act right
If that don't work
I'm simply going to
Stay out of your way
As the phone advertisement goes
"reach out and touch someone."
Not in anger anymore for me
