I once was a kid.

A lot of young stupid things I did.

Young people sometime feel that the older adults don't understand,

Their juvenile demand.

By the time we reach a ripe old age,

We have shed most of our stupidity and rage.

Personally, it finally sunk in that life really isn't fair.

And it can be a very fragile affair.

The more stupid you do,

The more you help screw you.

I stopped being my own worst enemy,

by fighting my enemy inside.

The one that aided in the stupidity ride,

that ignored my personal pride,

As I matured,

I realized life really isn't insured,

And that we should help equalize,

To slow down our demise.

We should do our best,

So we'll suffer less.
