Putting off joy in thine eyes,
waiting another day to realize,
the wonders of the moment of joy.
As I ride home in my little red toy,
I'll watch the beautiful country side,
the bright beautiful day coming toward me as I ride,
the feeling of cool fresh air coming through my window side.
After facing the darkness of Isabella,
is it so hard to be a thankful fellow,
At work my huge window is like a movie screen,
with the beautiful day playing in scene.
Sunshine blue sky,
lovely day when birds fly,
squirrels hop in delight,
ignoring the motor wheel fright.
There's a joy in the air,
one with no agony or dispair.
I blend with nature,
joy and beauty I do capture.
Why do lower animals seem to appreciate,
and we fail to relate?
Poor little squirrel,
flat under the wheel,
didn't know what hit,
but enjoyed until smite,
maybe dead with no smile,
but previously hopped like a playful child.
Joys,
every second toys.
