There are many lives of kind,
but this life is mine,
age 53 in lifes percolater,
democratic mind, no dictator.
Educated to evil, but refusing
to follow the devil, humanitarian
in nature, understanding in
stature.
I have one life to live,
one heart and soul to give,
so I give myself in love,
thanking my creator above.
For the sunrise in my eyes,
the goodness in my soul,
the light in my heart. As the
sun sets I rest, knowing
love is the best. The best
choice to travel lifes
demanding course.
Love in my eyes is love
in anothers eyes, even if
hate takes rise. Hate is only
the cover for love, love in
disguise. A soul missing
its sunrise, living in its
sunset. The all so powerful
sun never stays set. A sunrise
will sooner or later transmit.
In this one life that is mine,
the sunrise dominates in mind.
Sunsets my come and sunsets
may go, but my sunrise will
forever glow.
As darkness sets in this one
life, so does much misery and
strife, smothering my sunrise,
darkening my eyes. Even in the
darkness of night, there's a star
trying to shine through bright.
One as bright as the sun, one that
will forever burn. Even when it's
shadowed in mass, the thought of
it brings darkness to past.
One life,
the only life,
my life.
