Vacation of break,
escaping lifes usual shake,
vacation each and everyday,
this is just the way,
I make life pay.

Some wait,
let time dictate.
Wait around,
you could be hitting the ground.
Before vacation time come,
you could succumb.

Vacation doesn't have to be,
an elaborate voyage to sea,
an expensive journey,
a long lay in the sun,
or a huge trip of fun.

Simply realizing lifes fragility,
its tragic reality,
the wake up call,
to bounce the ball,
enjoy while we can,
just an everyday joyful plan,
increases the life span.

Forcing thoughts of joy,
playing with a favorite toy.
Hanging in a favorite place,
dealing the comfort ace.
Keeping the joy light on,
so the body will act upon.

A vacation away,
each and everyday,
in each and every way.
