Sink Or Swim

Sometimes the world has to be narrowed down, or in its waters we may drown.

Ocean of life huge in form,
a body just a speck within.
Thoughts within my mind,
could overflow its shores,
Cause a flood throughout.
So in it's vastness of size,
the world isn't large enough.

Still its powers dominate,
its forces act upon my being,
At times overwhelming.
Troopers of my mind release,
downsize the overpowering.
Narrow down the waters,
bring a universe into speck.

In the reversable exchange,
I become the ocean full.
The vastness of waters,
can't fill the huge void.
So I dive into a pond,
not enough for my swim.
But I swim on,
in control of.
