It almost destroyed the other person,
beat up on him so bad it had him cursing.
I have the same problem,
but I have a real good solution.
I'm not going to let it destroy me,
mess my life up like it did his.

The problem is a real tough one,
oh, it will take the average person down.
That is, if you're not careful.
The other guy turned into an acoholic,
then started doing drugs.
He can't keep a job,
people practically hate him.
Even his dog ran away from home,
wait a minute, what home?
He lost that too.

You see,
I'm a tough son of a gun,
I'm going to handle the problem,
I'm not going to let the problem handle me.
The hell with being on the losing end.
I dare myself to be different.

What's is the problem?

Oh,
it's life,
just living in this F'd up world.
What the hell did you think it was?
I know thousands who just can't handle it.
I'm not planning on being one of them.
