Things are never as bad as we deem,
even though at times life gets kind of mean.
I heard this story through the grapevine,
but it's one that will touch your mind.
Of course rewrote,
to my own
rhyming
note.
Running from the dog,
I tried to find a log,
so I wouldn't have to jog.
No log around,
nowhere on the ground.
So I jogged real quick,
put the dog in a trick.
Then I saw this brick,
Picked it up to throw,
but little did I know,
His mouth was bare,
no teeth were there!
For weeks he had been chasing me,
with a mouth that was tooth free.
The dog had no bite,
so I didn't have to fight.
Now when I walk past the dog,
I don't need a log,
neither do I have to fight,
or be in fright.
Have a nice weekend everyone.

What a cheer-upper. I wish whatever that's chasing after me was as harmless as this toothless dog. Sometimes it's scary - and yes, we can pretty well scare ourselves into be scared; but I think that's life and what we all need to face.
This was a very appropriate poem for everyone to read. Thanks Grady!
