Hooked on this life I struggle,
trying my best to be frugal.
Ignoring all the stupidity,
fighting all the negativity.
Choosing the path of least resistance,
giving into my souls repentance.
Strongly distinguising between right and wrong,
standing my position strong,
very sure of where I want to belong.

I know my life has problems,
I know my nation has problems,
I know life is problematic,
but I'm just a love life attic.
I hate negativity,
it strongly affects my productivity.

Some people don't do nothing but complain,
complain until they suffer a drain,
then it clogs up their brain.
We have so many good things in this society,
I take advantage for my own prosperity.
You spend your time complaining,
I'll spend mine sustaining.
Enjoying what is remaining.
I don't need perfection,
to take positive action.

While you're protesting on the corner,
I'll be writing about the corner,
poeming about the dishonor,
taking advantage of what I can.
When you're fighting the man,
While you're sitting in jail,
my pen will be on a writing spell.

In this society of capitalism,
we all have choices of individualism.
We either take advantage,
or
continue to be at a disadvantage.
Blame the president,
the official in resident,
Blame others,
even our sister and brothers.

Or

We overcome, adapt and improvise,
take advantage and compromise.
Learn to live with the president,
be productive and confident.
You have a right to hate the president,
I have a right to live with the president,
adapt to the president,
survive regardless of the president.
I don't base my survival on presidents,
it's strongly connected to confidence.

After I vote,
I put on my coat,
then get on my boat,
keep myself afloat,
wish for the best,
then do my best,
let God fix the rest.
If I can't write about it,
I'm not going to fight about,
protest about it,
Or
go to jail about it.

But we need you too,
it's important what you do,
it's just not my thing.

G

The last President this country had was William Jefferson Clinton. Pseudo Presidents who steal elections don't count. The new voting machines will enable him to steal the next one too. So much for Democracy.

Grady, I like it when we agree to disagree! Individualism, is the ultimate freedom. Thanks for sharing and Happy Holidays. Lisa
