I WantToLive

I want to live,
but I haven't been eating to live.
My eating habits have been one of joy.
In other words I've been living to eat.
Food is part of my joy in life,
but it can also be the cause of strife.
Eating to much can certainly take a life.

My avenue in was suppose to be a two way trip,
but instead I can't seem to get out.
Making adjustments to change my route.
I'm eating myself into a hole,
a deep pit without an exit toll.
My fee for using,
doesn't cover my cost of abusing.

With mad cow running around,
even the healthest may be taken down.
If the mad cow don't get us,
the earthquake may take us.
Escape all of the above,
then the terrorist might shove.

I'm going to adjust,
but in the Lord I will trust.
I'll start doing my best,
then let God do the rest.

There will be no worrying here,
no childish fear,
just strong decision making,
so I won't be breaking.
