No one will listen,
even if they do,
my mouth won't speak.
I grab my pen,
hoping it will write,
but
the words stay hid from sight.
I continue to write,
the page stays blank.

Thoughts locked in my head,
why want they come to light?
Neither will they write.
I walk around pondering,
mind still wondering.
Expression of mind,
locked up tight,
Still my pen will not write.

I guess some things are best kept,
locked in secret hid.
Even if they want an audience,
keep them dead.
Personal privacy,
things kept in secrecy.

Locked up expression continues to speak.
My mind hears but ignores its peek.
My pen wants to write,
but my heart holds on tight.
Deep in my soul another voice,

"you made the right choice."

I guess some things are meant to keep buried
in your heart, my friend. Just know, if you ever
want to talk, I'm here for you. That is what
friends are for.
