Pray to your God,
let him touch your heart.
Back off that alcohol bottle,
remove that foot off the gas throttle.
Quit being so mean,
don't steal others green.
Recognize others,
as your sisters and brothers.
Leave the blame game alone,
quit picking the hate bone.
Check foolishness at the door,
don't let it pen you to the floor.
Back off your fellow man,
give up on the strong demand.
Loosen your fist,
let an open hand exist.
Open your heart,
give love a new start.
Be more kind in attitude,
refuse to be rude.
Cut yourself some slack,
get the devil off your back.
Lighten up on life,
it'll soften your strife.

Grady, this is a wonderful poem. I showed it to my husband and he loved it, too. He wants me to print off a copy.

Well written Grady!!
