If it was, everyone would be writing, no one would be fighting. Everyone would be smiling all the time, everyone would be laughing instead of crying. Life would be easy as picking cherries, full of fun joy and merries.
We would all be rich, instead of some digging the ditch. There wouldn't hardly be any pain and suffering, nothing but pie in the sky offering. Joy would be easy as taking a walk in the park, instead of having to dig it out of the dark.
Well, digging good out of the darkness, is what this life is about in completeness. People who can perform this magic, experience life less tragic. Those who sit around accepting, instead of positively adapting, will always be missing some of lifes treasures, not to mention its pleasures.

Great message Grady....I have always been able to accept
what life deals me...even in sorrow....there's nothing
else one can do...many go to the bottle to drown it out..

You're steady and on course with the positive message of the day. It is the "I" part of your poems that usually comes to the forefront because that is the most important part of all this living we humans must endure. It may well "take a village," but it is the individual triumphs which mean the most. Very good poetry, Grady.
