As I looked out on the horizon,
I saw a face with a big smile.
Inside the smile I could see joy,
it thrilled me because I had a frown.
What did this person know that I didn't,
I tried not to stare,
but the joy I felt warmed my heart.

I felt a need to get closer,
so I walked toward the person.
The closer I got,
the better I felt inside.
Being of the opposite sex,
I didn't want to intimidate,
She looked me in the eye,
then spoke real nice.

As she passed me,
It felt as though the sun was setting.
But the tremendous joy I felt,
stayed with me as a big sunrise.
I stopped and turned to catch another glimpse,
but she had completely disappeared.

It startled me,
it was impossible for someone to just vanish like that.
I started running and searching,
only to find nothing.
Then I woke up feeling abandoned,
it was only a dream.

But I still felt the joy,
of her big warm smile.
My frown disappeared,
I woke up happy,
Knowing my beautiful smiling Angel,
felt my sorrow.
I looked out at the beautiful sunrise,
with joy in my eyes.
