burning
going wild
flames so hot
scary and vile
taking what it wants
leaving destruction and pain
where molten ash is lain
for a blacken storm
covers the sky
choking dreams
without sunlight
turning day
into hellish night
racing forward
hungry as it grows
ruled only
by the wind
that blows

Thank you for this wonderful write Chester, my eyes are swollen from the tears, it's difficult to watch yet hard not to...This is the worst ever and they say it may last for another 10 days or more.
