I must add this is fictional.. just something I dreamed..my mother did NOT trust in fate.. She was an Indian and trusted in spirits.. I just wanted to write something a little inspirational.. so I made it up.. With what I wished it would be..
The ultimate fate.. Damn missed the train.. To f***ing late.. AGAIN.. Missed my train.. Missed my ride.. Now I have to walk.. So tired.. Damn roads .. Getting longer and harder to travel.. Each and every time.. This fate is hard to catch.. Maybe it's all in my mind.. Damn.. Starting to rain.. Now I am going to freeze my ass off... Chilled to the bone.. Hey.. Must be fate.. Doing me a favor again.. Thanks for NOTHING.. Then again.. I am quite dusty.. Been on the road so long.. Had some hard times.. Cried my share of tears.. Hell.. My heart would be rusted away to nothing.. If it were made of tin. Just start walking.. Need to feel the rain on my skin.. Washing all my doubts away... Rain.. Washing the world clean.. See a brilliant rainbow .. Must be mine.. Maybe fate as a plan after all.. Would have missed the rain.. Would have missed the sun .. Would have missed the rainbow.. Could have missed the meaning.. Walking past flowers .. My memories open wide.. I use to pick these very same flowers growing up as a child.. Running to my Mother with a fistful in hand.. Mother always smiling.. As if to ask How did you know.. These are my favorite.. In a special vase they would go.. Then she would give me that smile.. The one meant just for me.. Her special little girl.. I walk with these memories.. I picture my mothers beautiful face.. I remember what she said to me the day she went away.. Just trust in fate child.. In the end.. You will find your way.. My Mother trusted in fate with all her heart and soul.. Yup... Think I will take this road.. Hope it is not so long.. but what the hell.. Even if it is... Fate can't be wrong... Maybe I am taking the scenic route.. That is fine with me.. Either way.. as Mommy said.. I will get where I am supposed to be. So I will keep walking..... Fate tries to lead us with great determination.. The journey is what counts.. Not the destination.
A very fine piece, filled with the emotional journey that we all make...great ending to this piece.

I see this as a gorgeous rendition, and the growing of the "Trusting In Fate" occuring, I liked all the litter or "smaller" elements all included, as seemed to say, it all is importnat, thanks Er, al

I love the way you twist this, good to bad and back. I think you've nailed it perfectly.
