Swaddled in the night airs,
humid cloister of velvet,
perfumed cloy of lavender,
the moonlight gathers my eyes
in golden ribbons,
and sweat so redolent
as new wine
dying on the vine
.
By feathered hair and a lucid
luster in a glance to glimmer
her temple throbbed
with the quintessential
food for thought
.
Stooped by the emerald pool
Lady Godiva bolts upright,
killing silence
in
the
night
Your poetry is always so beautiful Tyler...
you keep me coming back again and again, even if I don't comment I do always read!
This one is no exception! :)
