A government has recently been instituted for Somalia but wrangles soon started among the elected MP's who are at the same time the cabinet ministers. If we fail this time we may not get another chance to form a government. There may be war again betwen clans and tribes which can take us back to square one. Hope this will not happen. Help me with prayers please I want to talk to the arguing parties.
Somalia is set ablaze It is a nation in flames Please patch up your differences We need to see this fire extinguished A divided government can not restore peace Somalia is out of shape It is a nation in tatters Please patch up your differences We need Somalia back on track A divided government can not show the way Somalia is a victim of neglect It is a nation in deep shock Please patch up your differences A divided government can not treat a patient Somalia is a No Man's Land Alien intruders abuse its air space Please patch up your differences We need to control plane movements A divided government can not install radars Somalia is a naked nation No one is in-charge of its seas Please patch up your differences We need our coasts guarded and patrolled A divided government can not stop dumping Somalia is a bleeding nation Its resources are terribly looted Please patch up your differences We need to protect our natural heritage A divided government can not administer Vitamin K Somalia is a nation in fear Its neighbours intimidate daily Please patch up your differences We need soldiers at our borders A divided government can not scare enemy Somalia is a disintegrated nation It has its institutions collapsed Please patch up your differences We need to put broken pieces back again A divided government can not stitch up Somalia is an armed nation People carry weapons in the streets Please patch up your differences We need to enjoy peace and harmony A divided government can not disarm militia Somalia is an abandoned nation Agencies call it a security hazard Please patch up your differences We need to guarantee safety of expats A divided government can not attract investors Somalia is a "suspected" nation 11 September politics put it on bad list Please patch up your differences We need to prove our innocence A divided government can not defend a nation Please bridge the gap with the power of dialogue

Dearest Brother Abdi-Noor, My prayer is that you are heard. I send you all of the positive energy I can muster as well as prayers. We know all Muslims are not 11 September bombers anymore than all Chrisians are Catholic. There is but one God supreme over us all. May God hear our combined pleas for peace, growth,safety, and harmony and let the tribal wars cease. Peace blessings and love. Mikii

Your poem tears at the heart of the reader, Abdi Noor. To love your country so much and feel as though you are helpless to keep it from dieing from its wounds must be devastating. I will say a prayer for you and hope that your words here, also, reach many. I felt so many emotions while reading this...very good job!
