A sick child is now bringing all Somalis together for the first time in 15 years. We are financially helping this little girl without knowing which tribe she is hailing from. Although we managed to contribute some amount of money, a hospital in Austria accepted to treat the girl free of charge. This hospital deserves an award and on behalf of the Somali people I express my heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and hospital management for treating our child free of charge. The money collected to pay Halima's expenses is now saved for another child who desperately needs medical attention in somewhere outside this country. I particularly wish to mention here Lul H. Kulmiye in Norway who played the center stage of collecting the money and flew to Austria to stay with Halima in the hospital, leaving her family behind.

They don't know each other
But they share one identity
They are Somalis in abroad
They woke up to a lofty call
A girl child was in danger

Her name is Haliima Hirre
She is only eight years old
She was from a poor family
She needed medical treatment
A goiter covered her private parts
A medical operation was needed

Somalis in abroad collected money
They donated it to the ailing child
In Allah's sake they helped the child
Halima with her father flew to Austria
She was soon admitted to the hospital
Her condition is now reported normal

I praise all those who helped Halima
I thank the hospital and its doctors
They are treating Halima free of charge
They saved money for another child
I applaud their sympathetic feelings
I call them “Agels of Hope”
