I ran away from my country, Somalia, for security reasons. Today I arrived Addis Abeba, Ethiopia after spending two nights in Hargeisa, capital city of break-away Republic of Somali-Land. Now I feel safe but my family, wife and children, are still stranded in Mogadishu. Please pray for me to re-unite with my family in a place where we can all stay and live in peace; where we shall have no fear of being killed or tortured on tribal basis.As I write this I am holding back tears.

I agree Abdi-Noor, but I must admit that I am glad you have taken leave of the dangerous area where you were living. Sometimes the only way to solve problems is to step back far enough to be out of the line of fire and in a position of clear vision. Be safe, my friend.

(((((((HUGS))))))), prayers and tears. A shattering development...I will be praying for you. Was there no option to get your wife and children, or was safe passage only guaranteed for you alone? I don't know if I could have left them behind...but knowing how much you speak out against violence in your Nation, perhaps it was the only way. I pray for your safety and return of your family, unharmed.
Abdi Noor, I'm so sorry you were forced to leave! How terrible it must be tryng to get your family out now. I will say special prayers and put your plight on the prayer boards,knowing God will direct your path and keep you in His care! My thoughts are with you.
