Oh Africa Oh my Africa
The cradle of civilization but reduced to a frontier of barbarism by its leaders and dictators
I am Africa
Though big and large
I Produce too little
I can't feed my people
I am Africa
I Print too little
I publish few Books
People don't read much
I am Africa
In the desert of pain
My feelings are buried
I Can't speak as I please
Can't write as I wish
I Don't know press freedom
I am the Tomb of Silence
An excellent, painful reminder that things are deterioating quickly and the patient is on the way out to inhabit the tomb...haunting and very well penned.

How I pray for a civilized world Abdi Noor! If countries who have everything can't make it, one wonders how the rest will do it!
My thoughts and prayers are with you!...Eileen
So true - the seat of civilization - still in the primitive state - being held back, possibly, by the few rich who wish to become richer,.or else politics. Whatever., However, I believe, the undercurrent of this war is about freeing all people and it is the reason JESUS came and will come again, if necessary.
Dear Brother Abdi-Noor it is so sad and hard to look back in ourstory and remember that it was here that mankind originated. My heart cries for Mother Africa and what she has become after most of the plunderers and kidnappers left. Her sons must share the blame for her current illness. Peace, love, blessings, and gratitude for being my eyes and ears on the other side of the world. Our hearts mine and Baba's are with you. Keep writing you are young one day you will be a publisher. <Mikii>

In a post-coup America, an Illinois farm boy is drawn into the resistance by his brother's death. Captured, he is given a choice: betray his friends, or the girl he loves will be lobotomized.

My heart wrenches, hearing your heart's cry!
Our prayers are never far from you and your people...your Africa.
May the Tomb of Silence be broken, and your voice heard everywhere!
May the LORD comfort your agonizing heart, Abdi-Noor.
