Respect is what I like to give Irrespective of color or creed I give it first to get it back But many people never receprocate They have dry holes in their hearts They can,t offer what they don,t have But they can take what they can,t give Still I supply them tonnes of respect Without expecting an ounce from them Dictatorship teaches people to fear While democracy teaches us to respect One is a barbaric school of backwarness While the other is the light of freedom Shining on the road of peace and love�

Excellent words and lesson in this stunning poem, Abdi-Noor. The story of freedom is best told and appreciated by those who have lived outside of it.
