We are having surprise visits from very powerful leaders in the world who can either stop the war or give the warlord a new lease to keep the nation in war. We need them to give us water the kill the fire that had swept all across the nation.
If you look at Somalia
You only see beauty
You see plains and plateaus
You see a chain of mountains
You see a variety of vegetation
You see game of many types
If you look at Somalia
You see prosperity
You see the best beaches
The best livestock breed
And a most fertile land
A large mineral reserve
And a vast oil deposit
Yet people are hungry
Children are dying
Women are starving
Men are fighting
It is a land of paradox
It is where the blessing
Turns out to be a curse
The world can give water
To put off the raging fire
It can also give money
To rebuid the nation
But it cannot give leaders
To run the nation for you
Failure to produce the right leaders
Is a spot of shame on our political face
In the name of God or Allah that's not a reason to impose war and hunger on children or to destroy a Nation.

You are so right. When George Washington put down the weapons of war, he became a stateman. Surely there is a Thomas Jefferson in Somalia worthy the task?
Ahhh, yes, you are so right, Abdi-Noor. When your own people turn their backs on their brothers and sisters to quench their thirst for power and fill their own personal greed, it is difficult to imagine a future that is any different than the present. I pray that someone will emerge, who will be a sort of messiah for Somalia and lead her people back into the arms of freedom and prosperity.
