Deception is their way of life and they come in the form of human being with a clean heart. They are mostly hiding behind religion while they harbor sinister intentions in their unclean hearts
They covered its mouth with fodder
But the hole is deep and dangerous
Around its dark and desolate corners
They placed lanterns that shine across
To misguide your instincts deceptively
By giving you a gesture of fraternity
But playing a trick to overhaul you
And to lure you into a perilous trap
They are the scam agencies of disorder
Run by bogus groups of inhumane wish
Who thrive in lawless countries like Somalia
When the Islamic Courts appeared in Mogadishu everyone was happy, including myself. Finally! we thought, the 'men of God' are finally here to chase away the ruthless warlords. Sadly, the Courts lied to us poor Somalis. And through their propaganda machine they lied to the Arabs and the Muslim world, but they could not hide from Allah.
When they took over Mogadishu from the warlords the rest of Somalia was already at peace. By opting for violence, hard headedness, and recklessness, the Courts have not only perpertuated the misery of their people and nation, they missed a great opportunity.
The people who comprise this interim government are not aliens, they are their brothers. If the Courts are true Muslims they should not run after power or fame. And if they feel they are more learned than the warlords here's a chance for them: Admonish them. Remind them. Forgive them. Be the first to extend the hand. That is the high moral ground. That's the greatest jihad.
Shedding your people's blood and creating disorder is not Jihad. Wa billahi tawfiq wal hadaya.
Abdi Noor I can only imagine what it is like in a nation that is not a nation a town that is not a town, there is no one to hold anyone accountable and it is a living hell! I pray all the more that your country will soon be given the help it needs!

Unforuntely there is a lot of deception in religion, perhaps because its mankinds preception of what it should be, and man is not perfect or ever will be. Inside you know what is right and wrong, this is what we learn to truly listen to if we are wise. If it helps the world it is 'Spirit', if it helps us it is 'Ego'
