A somali child speaks with children of the world to expose the reality of his life while asking then where and how they live.
I am a Somali child living a war-torn country
Where do you live?
I live in a place where joy is in severe
shortage
Where do you live?
I live in a place where love is a rare commodity
Where do you live?
I live in a place where peace is lack of peace
Where do you live?
I live in a place safety hides behind danger
Where do you live?
I live in a place where child abused is rampant
Where do you live?
I live in a place where bombs are just toys
Where do you live?
I live in a place where divisions are unity
Where do you live?
I live in a place where pain is a comfort
Where do you live?
I live in a place where neglect is care-taking
Where do you live?
I live in a place where it is dark in broad daylight
Where do you live?
I live in a place where extremism is a way of life
Where do you live?
I live in a place where children don't go to school
Where do you live?
I live in a place where human rights is trampled upon
Where do you live?
I live in a place where government kills children
where do you live?
I live in a place where girls are circumcised
Where do you live?
I live in a place where rockets kill children
where do you live?
I live in a place where suicide bombers are martyrs
Where do you live?
I live where children have no right to be children
Where do you live?
I live in a city where the whole city is under seige
I live in Mogadishu, Somalia
Where do you live dear brother/sister?

Abdi-Noor, the pain yuo have felt, that every Somali child, woman, man, has felt is in this poem. God forgive us for being content to sit back; and pray to God that a door to find peace will come to you and all your people. Where is the door, and how can peace come to your people?
I wish every innocent child could live in a world filled with love and peace, and I very sadly often wonder if we will ever achieve that worthy goal.

Do not think that there is paradise anywhere in this world. Every country has its own problems. But Somalia has too many problems these days. That is the pity. Victor

In the end they'll all be dancin'--all them ones that didn't die.... Dance with me in the shadows amidst the lightning and the thunder, and all that nu-cu-lar debris. See the big bang from the other side, and then open that cellar door. Go down into
