Before talking on issues pertaining to religious differences, mood setting is a pre-requisite condition. Create it through stimulation, mobilization, dissemination, understanding and tolerance.
To the christians
Jesus is Son of God
But to the moslems
Jesus is Son of Mary
Within this difference
I see a glaring similarity
As both books call Jesus a SON
I keep eye on where the two meet
To set a mood for understanding
Though many insinuate faults
To find out where they can't meet
Tolerance builds bridges of peace
While intolerance destroys them

Amen, Abdi-Noor. Just as, the Quran states, "God has no partners", the Bible states, "Who is there like Me? Is there anyone beside Me?"
Both are true! Just as I honour Jesus, the son of Mary, the son given to all of us, sent by God, so I believe you honour the God we both serve.
Keep those thoughts coming; this is a reunion and reconciliation centuries overdue.
This one of those writes where I wish that the poet had pushed on just one step farther. Th facts of the matter are well stated but what is he MATTER within the matter?
Can't fault the final couplet!
Still, my friend, what is here is first rate a good write
