Fled from war
But died in the sea
Bodies washed ashore

WEll,, it grabbed my heart, to know if it is a haiku, I wouldn't know Abdi-Noor- sorry
but this poem is sad and aching!
I felt "HOPE" then "DEATH" and more sadness well up...
