Obama calls himself as The US President
But they call him the first black President
Shame on you international media houses
In the Long history of American politics
Color has been a mark of discrimination
woven within the fabrics of the system
But with the power of his wise words
Obam has washed away that stain
Just listen to his Victory speech
It speaks more than he had spoken
It conveys more meaning than he told
It hits far beyond than he had aimed at
His words have removed all color doubts
They were a powerful bleaching agent
They have scratched "itchs" from minds
Where has the media been when he said
"There is no black America no white America
But there is the United States of America
Canīt they feel the changing tides
Canīt they read the signs of time
Canīt they ever be free of color
Today in the US color of the skin counts not
Content of the personīs character matters most
As predicted by the great Martin Luther King
Shut up phony press
"Scoop, sell my convictions for a scoop, sell my soul for a Pulitzer" not unusual that Frankie Boy said that journalism is prostitution coated with the right to say anything, true or false, as long as there is a laminated piece of paper with a word PRESS printed on it.
You are so right Abdi Noor! The press needs to hang its collective head in shame! They try to rule this country ,but they are being exposed more now than ever! I pray more people will speak out against their shoddy tactics! Thank you for doing so! God bless you , my friend!
It never bothered me that Barack Obama was (is) black. Does the media ever say, "George Bush, the white President?" Nope. My oldest sister had married a black man (since divorced). It never ever bothered me: as long as he treated her right, that was all that mattered. He didn't, and it wasn't because of his color - it was because he was a jerk!!!! There's jerks in every race. Powerful reminder to a race obsessed society ... well done, (((brother Abdi-Noor))). Proud to call you my brother.
