promise, it is the thing which most easily eludes -- sometimes more difficult to comprehend than that which is so obvious -- I am certainly guilty of sometimes being a pessimist -- so your words have provided me with yet another wonderfully philosophical view point to aid my perceptions with optimism renewed, Abdi-Noor -- I once was in fact the eternal optimist -- many events throughout our lives tax our ability to instantly shrug off the initial pessimism and immediately view the positive prospects of certain events -- though I endeavor to do so -- I will recommit my resolve to view every situation with optimism -- thanks for the motivational message in your great poetry my dear friend -- much peace and love to you --Jon Michael

Desert Wanderer, there are pessimists and there are pessimists, the first ones will roll over you with ludicrous statements, the others will base they comments on reality facts.
Ones will talk from fantasy and prejudice the others from experience.
Pessimism is good if good intentioned.
