Tomorrow we will be having an exhibition in the town of Alvesta, sweden, where artists are expected to show their creativity based on what had captured their attention in Alvesta either in poery, painting etc. For me Allbo Lärcenter is the site I so deeply appreciate for its various activities to help the newly-arrived immigrants in terms of language study and community orientation classes. In this poem I express how I felt one day after my first visit to Alvesta some two months ago.
The Day After
The day after is just a poem of serenity
Not the horrors of Hollywood film story
It is all about my reflections on Alvesta
It is a dream I had after my first visit
I saw Alvesta transformed into a park
With all buildings becoming trees of love
As the roads changed to streams of rivulets
And cars mutated to swimming ducks
As their rumble never echoed hoarsely
But soothingly touched like the sound of a waterfall
I saw a Läkträd right on where the museum stands
I saw other magnificent trees of joy and serenity
But finally I saw an Eagle landing on an Eke tree
Balancing itself on branches with a majestic might
Allbo Lärcenter was the EKE I saw in my dream
My heart was filled with glee as I said to myself:
“No counting of trees is complete without mentioning Eke
“No praise for Alvesta is genuine without appreciating Allbo

Beautiful writing sweet man...stay safe and well always...Hugsss
Thank you for this, Abdi-Noor. You make me want to visit
Alvesta and experience the serenity, to see those cars whose rumble
is soothingly touched like the sound of a waterfall. -gene.
Abdi-Noor,
Your sense of place and belonging
is truly admirable, you participate
and you are part. Adaptation to another
culture and way of life is never easy,
i share that with you and understand it.
This is fine indeed.
I AM GLAD THAT YOU HAVE A PICTURE OF ALLBO LARCENTER...IT IS A GOOD LOOKING EDIFICE. I COULD NOT FIND A PICTURE OF IT ON LINE AND ON FACEBOOK, OF COURSE I CAN'T READ THE WRITING. IN ANY CASE I DID FIND A PICTURE OF THE UNUSUAL LOOKING EKE TREE AND THOUGH I COULDN'T FIND A PICTURE OF A LAKTRAD(WHICH IS?), I AM GLAD TO KNOW THAT YOU BALANCED YOURSELF MAJESTICALLY ON ALLBO. I CAN ONLY ASSUME THEN THAT YOUR TIME THERE IS BEING SPENT WELL AND YOU ARE ENJOYING IT IMMENSELY. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS & FAITH...

Be always safe,

It's truly wonderful when any of us can pen those.
Alvesta and experience the serenity, to see those cars whose rumble
is soothingly touched like the sound of a waterfall. -gene.
