Sometimes when you just need some tenderness

I’ll run my fingers across your open hand

resting lightly on the finger tips;

slowly taking your palm up to my lips

I’ll kiss the inside of your wrist,

while your fingers gently brush my cheek

in a tender loving moment, as you wished.

this is so beautifully true, my dear sweet friend. treasure it.
i am haunted by a song (line) by evanescence...these wounds won't seem to heal...etc. seems poignant these days. i am happy for those who can find happiness in the simplicity of love. and especially happy for those i care about.
