Light refracting through the surface shimmers off the bottom of my heart where I nestle memories of you. Like two children we played around love never really knowing what we had, always knowing what we felt. With each beat the light shifts illuminating another image. A hand runs along the surface barely touching yesterday and the texture of love. Swaying on the surface of what could be the rhythm soothes our pain. The look of love brings joyful smiles and tears reflecting in the longing, diving, then drowning away. Oh to hold you another day. But there inside my heart our love pools, always... glistening in the light.
Sara, this brings back wonderful memories of the freshness of love when it is first experienced. I enjoyed the sensuality of this write along with the heartfelt love...Great write!
