God departs

God is lost, Absconding he was

Searched in Mecca

Searched in kashi

Searched in Jerusalem

Searched in pagodas,

Gurudwaras, temples, churches deserted they are

he was no where 

Somewhere on village side,

a child playing along riverside

Finds some one sitting on other side

Aura all around, but with glum surround

Closer he reached and find his eyes were moist

Lonely sitting GOD it was  

The child asked him, for reason

For his eyes to rain

God said it’s all in his name

God asked the child who he was

Child replied that his mother told him not to talk

God took him in his grandeur

And loved him a lot and asked again

What was reason for him to stray so far

With Tears in his eyes child respond

Separation is what his parents sought

Parents were ignorant of his heart

Want him to share, while they were going apart

Want me to divide

Divide love

Divide memories

Divide every thing I have

Oh lord, but how can I divide my heart

Feeling lonely, I prayed for God

But God was also gone

Listening to the child, God was hurt

With tears on his cheek, he thought

Similar were their pains

As my sons want me to share and choose

Share my love for them

Share my heart

Choose who my best son was

Ask for my blessing while they fought

Squandered all my offerings

Every moment separated  

Divided they stand, by my different name

Ruin each other for their selfish fame

Riverside gets dark

the child sleeps in god’s arms

Decided god once again

All this pain he has to retain

For this child’s sake

God blesses him

Suffering is mine, you will only smile

Gain all you have lost
