a short night for a vampire...
Lust and Greed Death © Jaimey Perham 06/10/2010 Sinner lusted for the flesh of the body Greedy and voracious, a sprinkle of society Work of the devil, a hero’s tragedy Dressed to kill adorned with gold jewelry Materialistic in nature, a product of the factory Needed a fix to satisfy personal vitality Walked the streets searching for a deity Passed the victims of environment’s poverty Found a speak easy a real rare novelty Hit the jackpot, a human animal lottery Hunted the prey of wilderness society Was this fantasy, or a twisted reality? Searched the room scanning the gallery Suddenly stopped in tracks of perplexity The gaze of innocence ushered in uncertainty Mysterious stranger touched parasite with integrity Dropped dead instantly from god’s gift of purity Vampire’s soul burnt to hell for eternal agony.
