Scarred, but not beaten we gather our memories from 9 years ago
Focused on the future strength of our country not our evil dark shadows
I light two candles today for those who have perished, and passed on to kinder, more peaceful meadows
We must stop all this hate and violence that continues to dominate the political and religious ghettos
It is time to move on and not reflect on the mistakes of our past, but rather reflect on the great promise of our future ethos
And the path to that success is loving and respecting our neighbors now in present time, no matter how different their credos
That is the message I retain and pray from the towers of blue light reflecting forward on this significant September 11th anniversary day where my heart does ache, but my soul spirit shines and glows…
