Goals give us direction.

They make it so our lives are not aimless

Life is too short to be going nowhere.

It’s sad if negativity is why you’re famous.

Use your talents to enrich people

These will, in turn,

convey your gifts to others.

It’s better to be known

as a source of encouragement

than for causing division

between those who are brothers.

Put your goals in writing.

Place them in a location

where you can see them daily.

Otherwise, they’ll be just another thought

that could be sidetracked

by trouble or an unplanned baby.

Having a child is a great blessing

They are the arrows

that go in their parents' quivers.

But dreams will be on hold

If one is had while too young.

It’s frightening when that thought

doesn’t make a teenager shiver.          

We all need people.

The wrong crowd, however,

can result in your not meeting your goal.

Be on guard

against get-rich-quick schemes.

Don’t reject wisdom just because it is ancient or old.

Always remember how healthy it is to dream.

Doing so brings pleasure to one’s reality.

I have confidence that your dreams will come true .

Ultimately, how I feel doesn’t matter, though,

because you are the one

who has the responsibility

to hang in there

and make things happen.
