It's about everything and nothing
It's about the everything of nothing
It is the essence of a dream
It is the terror of one heart onto another
It is how I feel about you
Yet so much more than just words
Perfect words never land on perfect paper
As destined hearts may overlook one in the same
Troubled waters consume the shallow survivors
And raw righteousness may have never looked so pure
Through all and none – I look over it all towards you
I have wasted and harmed and dishonored
But at the final stroke, my heart will come through alive
If only I could put your hand to my chest
You could feel each pulse and glimpse the truth
Could you believe?
Would you – for only one heartbeat – believe?
I don't dare look into your eyes
Knowing untouchable beauty is one thing –
But seeing, embracing, tasting…?
Time is trouble and full of redemption
As time bombs of the heart are randomly set
Like the lyrics we love together, I won't make you
For a thought will outlast a kiss goodbye
Eternal bliss could never be more beautiful
Than in silent dreams and hopes and frivolous plans
My tears could never be so cold – inside
Dreams at the darkening hours hold true longer
Maybe due to the absence of a light heart
It truly is about everything and nothing
More so than the everything of nothing
And tonight, you'll stay my Konstantine
