This is so bittersweet and I'm longing to read into it a happy resolution... but I'm not too sure!! The idea that such a love should deliberately "evade" is disturbing and speaks of deceit; the ending can be taken as either comforting - that she was REALLY there all the time! - or as wistful wishfulness in her stead. Scintillating metaphor and imagery: wonderful lyricism, too - your work is always so musical. And always carries with it the sense of the heroic. You have a gift for endearing the reader to the person of the voice... but, perhaps, no wonder - even if we didn't know your pure and beautiful heart!! Longing to hear of a "safe" address to be able to send stuff out to you all. Have just written a letter - should take 5/6 days? Be safe, be well, be strong. LOL Kate xx

Bhuwan, although I have been extremely busy lately, I have continued to read all of your marvelous poetic creations since I’ve joined AD.
