I greet the dawn
with a glass of lassitude
and waltz with the Moon
every night, with a bottle of solitude.
Love, O love, where are you?
I’m living but not alive without you.
‘Come running my love!’ Delay not.
It’s time for you to come in my arms
and sow the verses of eternal love
with the metaphors of your tongue.
Oh, crowds, leave the paths open
for her. Let her pass through the
boulevard of the corpses as the
darkness that travels toward the
light and appear before me
as naked as the glitter of the
morning Sun lying on the
petals of the rhododendron.
Have you not heard the footfalls
of her love beating in my heart?
Her golden tread may yet
march all over my fate.
The sky is overcast
with her love- love will
bathe me with joy.
I am one who has done her share of "waltzing with the moon" (I love that phrase). You've distilled the yearning for love, but also the undying hope that "love will bathe you in joy", into an intoxicating elixer. I am reminded of the 'Song of Solomon'...
I have read this poem many times, and keep coming back to write something, this is truly exquisite, as is all your poetry. It is a wonderful feeling when one has so much love within. Here is hoping that her golden tread will not only march over your fate, but find it's home and happiness. Thank you for sharing Bhuwan.
Vivid, supplicating poetry, Bhuwan, in a manner which strikes a chord deep within the reader's soul. It is the aching for completion human beings feel, the lack of which permeates life, but the dream of which that infuses soul with courage and anticipation, with eagerness for the future. I admire and respect your ancient soul, Bhuwan, you bring your wisdom into the Now to gift us with the values of hope.
Romantic lyricism combined with spiritual depth is a pretty unbeatable combination, making this one beautiful poem. May I suggest that you consider changing the word "destitute" at the end of the second line to "destitution"? I'm enjoying reading poems previously posted by you.

Such a stunning metaphor with vital images that ravage the mind and heart with a desperate passion. So intense!! I feel parched with thirst just reading it! And it is so bursting with anticipation - like awaiting the arrival of good news. For me, from "Oh crowds, leave the paths open for her..." is the single, unifying thought which just explodes off the page. Speaks of a soul that is absolutely saturated with love and desire. You are the Master at this Bhuwan: so overtly passionate and yet always treating your "love" with the utmost grace and respect. Please give me news soon! LOL and prayers, Kate xx
Great art; lovely stunning poem ... written with great perception - exceptional!!
Best always,
Robert
